DOMICILE, on view at Fountain House Gallery in Fall 2018, included works by contemporary artists Camille Eskell, Olivia Jane Huffman, and Max McInnis alongside artworks by over 30 Fountain House artists including Alyson Vega, Angela Rogers, Boo Lynn Walsh and more. Inspired by domesticity, interior spaces and notions of home-making, ”Domicile” encompassed paintings, photography, sculpture, and mixed media works in dialogue with how we experience intimate spaces and how memory is embedded and manifests within an artist’s practice.
Through various conceptual and material approaches, Domicile shone a contemporary lens on domestic life, re-examining our ideas of home, interiors and intimacy.
